Keeping film production local with Local Lens

Washington Filmworks, the organization that manages our Motion Picture Competitiveness Program, recently announced a new initiative called Local Lens.  Starting in 2019, all of the funding within the MPCP will be reserved for locally-made projects.  It is the first production incentive program in the country to do so.
